A bit of a round up.

I have been a busy one as of late and have neglected the old blog. Sooo, on Wednesday I went to the cinema to see 50/50. The film was really good, but cancer themes do kill me every time. I think that is wonderfully acted though and am glad I went to see it. Also Joseph Gordon Levitt is a mega babe. Never go to the Rampant Lion though okay!! Me and Brad went there first and it was awful, ‘lost’ our order. And it’s not the first time that this bar maid has been awful.

Thursday I popped back to Pleasley, which was nice. It was good to see le fam. Did a bit of catching up and attended to some other things. Had a few chocs out of my advent calendar. There are now around a million animals in my mother’s household.

Friday I dashed back on the train, a man trod on me, apparently that is acceptable as later on that day a woman hit me in the face on the bus. I really need to learn to drive. I went round to my friend’s house, he made microwave popcorn on the hob, oh the little things impress me.

This weekend I have had LOADS of work to do, but I went to Insight Film Festival. I didn’t see an awful lot whilst I was there but the stuff I did was really interesting and I am sad it wasn’t at a time of the year where I could’ve seen more. I would recommend anyone with an interest in film go. Although the festival was based around ‘faith in film’ I think that you did not need to consider yourself religious in order to attend. I think that religion gets too negative a press these days, I had a very interesting chat with a friend about faith this weekend and I’ll save this for another blog I think. My friend Carly was involved with the festival and I can see why she wanted to be involved with something that was done so well.

I am a film whore this week, I went to see Immortals - which I was going to see weeks ago but for one reason and another I never got round to it. I like Greek Mythology an awful lot so the film was good and bad, they Hollywooded up a story which was already pretty exciting in my opinion. Nevertheless, who doesn’t enjoy a bit of Ancient Greek swordsmanship?

Looking forwarded into this week; I feel like I am booked up now until Christmas! I have loads on and loads of work to do. Quite glad I am not working. This week we’re planning a surprise, it will be an exciting thing when it happens I hope! :)

Rainbows?

I don’t really like animals, except cats. Mostly Fee. But I do have a special place in my heart for a panda. And penguins. Especially Emperor Penguins, but that is mostly Attenborough’s fault. He has a beautiful voice.

Nevertheless, even when Pandas are being too sunshiney, I enjoy that rainbows happen.
